라우갤러리는 2025년 1월 1일(수)부터 1월 30일(목)까지 한수원에서 문형철 작가의 개인전 《생명의 색채》를 기획 전시한다. 이번 전시는 자연과 인간의 관계를 탐구해 온 작가의 독창적인 작업을 조망하는 자리로, 강렬한 색채와 독특한 질감이 돋보이는 작품들이 다채롭게 선보였다.

작가는 ‘생명’이라는 주제를 중심으로, 자연물과 인간을 감각적으로 표현하는 작업을 지속해 왔다. 특히, 나비의 형태를 통해 생명의 순환과 자연의 조화를 시각적으로 풀어낸다. 그의 작품은 현실을 초월하는 듯한 색의 조합과 정교한 묘사를 통해 관람객의 감각을 자극하며, 마치 촉각적으로도 느껴질 듯한 강한 질감을 담아낸다.

Row Gallery will host Moon Hyung-chul’s solo exhibition, “Color of Life,” Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Company from Wednesday, January 1 to Thursday, January 30, 2025. This exhibition is a place to view the artist’s unique work that explores the relationship between nature and humans, and various works featuring intense colors and unique textures are on display.

The artist has continued to work on sensually expressing natural objects and humans, focusing on the theme of “life.” In particular, he visually interprets the cycle of life and the harmony of nature through the form of butterflies. His works stimulate the senses of viewers through color combinations and elaborate descriptions that seem to transcend reality, and contain strong textures that seem to be felt tactilely.

The butterfly works unveiled in this exhibition express a new level of vitality through pictorial experiments based on the organic forms of nature. The dramatic contrast of red and blue and the soft yet three-dimensional expression technique show that his work contains a philosophical message that goes beyond simple reproduction and explores the essence of life.
