라우갤러리는 2025년 9월 22(월)일부터 10월 09(목)일까지 허현 작가의 초대개인전《생각의 단상》를 기획 전시한다.

이번 전시는 디지털 미디어아트와 증강현실(AR)을 기반으로, 일상의 풍경과 기억, 그리고 내면의 사유를 시각적으로 풀어낸 허현 작가의 작업 세계를 조망한다. 작가는 우리가 무심히 지나치는 일상의 장면과 사소한 감정의 파편들을 빛과 이미지, 영상으로 재구성하며 현실과 가상의 경계를 유영한다.

전시장에 펼쳐진 작품들은 각각 독립된 서사를 지니는 동시에, 관람자의 시선과 움직임에 따라 서로 연결되며 하나의 흐름을 만들어낸다. 익숙한 일상의 풍경 위에 증강된 이미지들은 숨겨진 기억과 감정을 환기시키며, 관객으로 하여금 자신의 경험과 감정을 투영하도록 이끈다.

허현 작가는 디지털 기술을 단순한 표현 수단이 아닌, 보이지 않는 내면의 풍경을 비추는 매개로 활용한다. 이번 전시에서 기술은 차가운 장치가 아니라 감각과 사유를 확장하는 도구로 작동하며, 관객에게 ‘감상’이 아닌 ‘사색의 시간’을 제안한다.

This exhibition explores Heo Hyun's artistic world, visually interpreting everyday scenes, memories, and inner reflections through digital media art and augmented reality (AR). The artist reconstructs everyday scenes and fragments of insignificant emotions, often overlooked, through light, images, and video, exploring the boundaries between reality and the virtual.

The works displayed in the exhibition each possess an independent narrative, yet connect with the viewer's gaze and movement, creating a unified flow. Augmented images, layered over familiar scenes, evoke hidden memories and emotions, encouraging viewers to project their own experiences and emotions.

Heo Hyun utilizes digital technology not simply as a means of expression, but as a medium that illuminates the invisible landscape of his inner self. In this exhibition, technology operates not as a cold device, but as a tool that expands the senses and thoughts, offering the viewer a time for "contemplation" rather than "appreciation."

"Fragments of Thought" consists of works that depict the landscapes and emotions the artist has encountered over the years. The colors and lines that accumulate on the canvas go beyond mere representation, revealing the intersection of memory and sensation.
